Comfortable family hotel in the center. Rooms with air conditioning on request. The Harz narrow-gauge railway and the DB can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. For those traveling by car, there are some in-house parking spaces and public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Our cozy and comfortably furnished rooms are all equipped with shower and toilet, some also with bathtub. Furthermore, color TV, telephone and WiFi are standard with us. Our elevator, which takes you quickly to the floor of your choice, ensures that you can move about quickly and without barriers in our main building. Our lavish and varied breakfast buffet offers everything you need for a perfect start to an eventful day. If you would like to travel to Wernigerode by car, some parking spaces are available to you. Parking reservation is not possible. For arrivals after 6 pm: please contact the hotel in advance in order to receive the keybox-code.

Arriving by car

Autobahn A36, exit Wernigerode Mitte. On the L82 (Halberstädter Straße) towards Wernigerode to the 1. roundabout, then first right towards the center and straight on at the 2. roundabout (Elbingerode / Schierke) 3. roundabout take the third exit into Bahnhofstrasse and left at the traffic lights into Albert-Bartels-Strasse. After 150m left into Pfarrstraße. Hotel Johannishof 150m on the right.

Arriving by public transportation

Arrival via Wernigerode main station. Continue by taxi (1.0km) or by foot via Bahnhofsplatz, Schreiberstrasse to the pedestrian traffic light, straight into the dead-end street on the left into Grüne Strasse and after 20m right Johanniskirchweg to the Hotel Johannishof.
