This design budget hotel is located directly at the ski resort St. Johann / Oberndorf and is a certified Passive House Hotel. Included in addition to a rich breakfast buffet and Wi-Fi also sports Spa with sauna, steam bath and gym. The Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel is specifically geared to the needs of sporty and active guests. A special highlight is the bike and ski test center with Explorer workbench. The hotel also has practical sports locker in the reception area, an interactive Explorer Touch Wall and a cozy lounge with bar.

The trendy design rooms offer plenty of room to relax on 21 m². In addition to the comfortable double bed, the highlight is the large bench in the panoramic window with comfortable cushions, on which you can relax in a dream for two. The rooms are functionally equipped with plenty of counter space, hooks, shelves and cupboards. There is also a large safe where all valuables can be stored safely. The bathroom is a spacious room with a good living feeling. The oversized shower, the wall-high mirror and the extraordinary, bright color mosaic make a good mood and the walk to the bathroom a pure pleasure.
In the Explorer Hotel you start the day alive. From 7.00 am to 10.30 am, you can make your own breakfast from 70 fresh, high-quality and predominantly regional components.
Tip: Whether scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, breakfast buffet or boiled egg ..., at the egg fry station it says “do it yourself“!
Even if there is no restaurant in the Design-Budget Explorer Hotel, you will not starve and die of thirst! The coffee machine is available during the day for self-service and at the cozy bar you get daily from 16.00 clock:

- as well as delicious sandwiches, salads and snacks in between

A paradise for winter sports: located in the center of 5 large ski areas. The hotel is located directly at the SkiStar St. Johann ski area and within a 12-minute drive you can reach the winter sports resort of Kitzbühel with the ski area. The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental can be reached in about 10 minutes and the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn within 20 minutes by car. Directly next to the hotel, at the middle station of the St. Johanner Gondelbahn Harschbichl (Kitzbüheler Horn), is the climbing park Hornpark, with a high ropes course, flying fox, funball, slackline course, segway tours and mountain cart adventure and much more. The Panorama Badewelt can be reached on foot within 15 minutes. There is an indoor and outdoor pool with sauna world & massage, aqua fitness, tennis court and restaurant. In winter you can also skate there. In 20 minutes you can reach the Koasa Boulderhalle.
