Situated between Sesto Calende and Angera, in a marvellous setting of lakes and mountains, the Cascina al Campaccio offers the best of the seven lakes countryside and can be easily reached from Canton Ticino, Malpensa and the Sesto Calende exit off the “Autostrada dei Laghi” motorway. It stands at the foot of a hill in the Parco del Ticino, where guests can explore new nature trails and quiet tracks either on foot, horseback or mountain bike, in a peaceful, sweeping setting with views of the ancient Rock of Angera and the enchanting nuances of Monte Rosa. The Cascina al Campaccio has a private car park, the accommodation is originally furnished with understated style, including television and Internet access, and has been restored using a warm palette and reclaimed materials, such as stone, old wooden beams, handmade terracotta floors, arches and exposed brickwork to create a suggestive atmosphere of times gone by which makes guests feel comfortably at home.
