The Hotel Altstadtquartier is located at the heart of the Old Town of Schwedt an der Oder, just a stone´s throw from the countryside. Cross the Hohensaaten-Friedrichsthaler Waterway to the extensive Lower Oder Valley National Park with its many streams and rivers. The Oder on the other side of the park forms the border with Poland.
The building itself really doesn´t reveal the fact that this privately run hotel is several hundred years old. On the contrary, it looks quite new and offers modern rooms and top-class gastronomy. From here, you can enjoy hiking and cycling tours to the national park as well as cultural variety in the form of concerts and recitals in the hotel garden.
We are nature and climate protection partners with regional offered from our kitchen. We offer exclusive walking and cycling tours in the National Park since 2014, as we are a national park partner hotel. Guided city tours are possible in our minibus. Our Cafe is open from May and in the summer months, in the hotel garden cinema, concerts and readings.

Arriving by car
From A 11, take the exit 9- Joachimsthal on B198 in direction Angermünde/Schwedt. Continue on the B 2 to the entrance Schwedt. Straight over the next roundabout exit right toward Asklepius clinic. Continue straight ahead on intersection Auguststrasse after about 400 meters turn right into the Louis-Harlan Str. turn right slightly to the Fabrikstreet.
Arriving by public transportation
From the train station terminus station with the bus line 472 to Vierradener place. From there turn right around to the Catholic Church in the Louis-Harlan -road you can reach the hotel in 2 minutes.
