Arriving by car
Szilvásvarad is situated 170 kilometres from Budapest. The easiest way to reach by car is to take M3 motorway to exit Füzesabony/Eger, than on the 33 semi-motorway into the direction Eger – Szarvaskő – Bélapátfalva. It takes about 2 hours to reach the castle.
