About the Hotel
This fabulous boutique hotel is a peaceful heaven in a prestigious turn-of-the-century Brussels residence. In 1991, Stanhope Hotel, located in the centre of Brussels, was inaugurated first 5-Star hotel in Belgium. From the delightful bright lounge, with its Library Bar, over the Brighton restaurant to the picturesque interior garden with ivy-clad walls, everything is breathing elegance and charm. After 12 years, an extensive renovation and enlargment of the property has been established, counting today 125 Standard or Classic and Superior rooms, Suites and Apartments, as well as extensive conference facilities.

Focusing on the Environment
The hotel is the first property of Thon Hotels Brussels being classified as an "Eco-dynamic Enterprise" by the Brussels institute for environment, IBGE. In 2012, Stanhope Hotel has been rewarded by the Green Key Label. Know more about Stanhope's Green Activities.

They are located in a quiet area next to the up-town of Brussels and not far away from the very centre of the city. Shops, restaurants and nightlifes´ activities are within walking distance from your apartment. Public transport just around the corner (Metro and bus station, VILLO, train station at 200 meters).

Brighton Restaurant: Conventional French cuisine with Mediterranean savors

The Brighton Restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers a great location next to the European District, a special business menu during lunchtime and an outdoor private garden and terrace.

When the weather allows, lunch and dinner can also be served in the interior garden, in the shadow of a hundred years old magnolia tree.

History and decor
Located in the centre of Brussels, next to the European District, the restaurant is adorned with a portrait of King George IV, the British monarch who transformed the Brighton Pavilion into a fairy tale oriental palace at the beginning of the 19th century. The walls of the restaurant are embellished with frescos of figures in Chinese apparel of which the hand painted originals are in the banqueting room of the same palace.
Private parties. Boardrooms are available if you would like to dine in privacy. Capacity from 2 to 30 persons.

The Stanhope Hotel offers brand new facilities for any type of conference or event in Brussels. The hotel offers 9 conference and meeting rooms in total of 880m². All rooms have daylight, air-conditioning, and basic technical equipment.

• Our largest conference room is the Balmoral Room that is able to hold up 300 persons in theatre style and 250 persons in classroom style. This room can be divided into 3 smaller rooms, which makes it the ideal venue for gala dinners, conferences, weddings, cocktails, etc.

• The Stanhope also has 6 boardrooms which are perfect for smaller meetings for up to 30 people. These rooms can also be used for private lunches or dinners.

• Banqueting
Whether you are planning on organizing a private lunch or dinner, a cocktail party, a press conference, a product presentation, a fashion show, wedding or any other event, we would be delighted to organise it in your name. Whatever the size of your event, we would be honoured to transform your challenge into a success. For outdoor events we can offer the use of our Magnolia Garden or the Ambassadors Terrace.
