The Marina Palace is the most carioca of the group’s hotels, and is already a part of the beach of Leblon, one of the best districts of Rio de Janeiro. With a mainly executive clientele, the hotel has a new penthouse and nine executive floors designed by architect André Piva.
In the new floors, the guests are pampered with things like a newspaper delivered daily, an express checkout service, and a kit with beach chair, parasol and towel to use at the beach in front of the hotel. The apartments are decorated in a very modern style and have the best in terms of technology and comfort: flat-screen TVs (25” and 29”), remote-controlled air- conditioning, portable CD players with a selection of CDs, box spring king-size beds, high-pressure shower, electronic safe, coat-stand, telephone with voice mail, high-speed wireless Internet. In the apartments and suites that overlook the ocean there is also a DVD player with a selection of movies for the guest to choose and a hot tub. The super-luxury suites have an anteroom, a living room and a bedroom. In the lobby there is also a charming lounge and a piano bar.
Marina Palace is ideal for those who are in the city on business, and therefore offers all that is necessary to this clientele, like the business center, with computers, printers, scanners and copy machines that can be used 24 hours a day, aside from high-speed wireless Internet in all common areas and apartments of the hotel (Including the pool!).
Total number of guest rooms: 150
subdivided into: 37 Junior Suites
All the rooms are equipped with cable TV air conditioning, mini bar, phone with voice mail, radio-watch, high speed Internet and individuals safe box.
At the Executive Floors you will also enjoy: Micro system with CD, work desk, electronic safe box, and at the rooms with ocean view a DVD and Jacuzzi. All of them with a modern and clean decoration, personalized attendance, daily newspaper, check-out express and much more.
In the Marina Palace Hotel we have the Vizta, a newly opened restaurant. Located on the second floor and with an astounding view of the Leblon beach, the restaurant has a wine friendly concept and a contemporary and delicate cuisine. Some of the Vizta’s hits are “Oysters with caipirinha gelato,” “Codfish brandade with arracacha,” and the several grilled meats with side dishes and special sauce.
Another special feature is the room service menu, with sandwiches made with bread cooked in the very hotel and exclusive options that are a step further from the traditional hotel menus. Also in the Marina Palace, in the sidewalk that overlooks the ocean, is the Bar da Praia, a meeting place for the carioca youth. The ambiance is very informal: there’s a very rustic porch, which indicates that the bar belongs near the beach. This proximity with the sea inspired the place’s unpretentious decoration and the idea of serving sushi in mini surfboards and sandwiches in replicas of frescobol racquets.

Location
Leblon is a district meant for walking. If you choose the oceanside, you will be able to cross the district - from Jardim de Alah to the Visconde de Albuquerque canal - in thirty minutes and it is hard not to stop along this itinerary. Leblon has a wonderful assortment of restaurants and bars (for all kind of pockets), very beautiful people, and a "family oriented" sidewalk that merge the natural attractions of the "Zona Sul" and a friendly neighborhood environment.
