From Salzburg/Munich: Take the Tauernautobahn (A10)to exit 43 Werfen. Then follow the signs to Werfenweng along the L229 (6 km). From Villach: Take the Tauernautobahn (A10)to exit 44 Pfarrwerfen/Werfen. Then follow the signs to Werfenweng(4 km).
Arriving by public transportation
The Pfarrwerfen station is about 5 km and the Bischofshofen train station is about 12 km away. Both can be reached directly from southern Germany or Salzburg. Our advice: When purchasing the SAMO Card 2 hours of free transfers with the Werfenweng shuttle to Werfenweng and back.
