Coming from Firenze Mare (A11), take the exit marked Lucca east. After the toll booth, turn left and follow signs indicating the center of the city. After having passed the first traffic light and the bridge following it, take a left at the next round about, keeping the old city walls always on your right. Follow Viale Giosuè Carducci, continue straight, passing through two traffic lights, city walls still on your right, at the next traffic light, take a right for Porta San Donato.
