Arriving by car

12 Mile Delta: 5 miles north of Matakauri Lodge on Glenorchy Road. ## Queenstown Airport (ZQN): (SW) All visitors to Matakauri Lodge will first approach Queenstown via Frankton Road. At the second round about -rotary- turn left onto Shotover Street, and continue onto Lake Esplanade then follow the signage heading north towards Glenorchy. Follow that road along the lakes edge -keeping the lake on your left- for 4.5 miles. Look for the sign Welcome to Closeburn - we are 150 metres beyond this sign. Look on the left hand side of the road for a side road sign-posted in yellow Matakauri Lodge. Follow the signage to lodge and reception. ## Glenorchy Road: Travel north down Glenorchy Road for 4.5 miles and turn left onto Farrycroft Road. ## Wanaka: Travel north down Glenorchy Road for 4.5 miles and turn left onto Farrycroft Road.
