The apartment house, located near the Mur River, is just a 10-15 minute walk from Graz´s beautiful old town. Well-known attractions in the area are the Südtirolerplatz square with its Kunsthaus art museum, the hip Postgarage Café, as well as Graz´s Mur Island with its floating café and playground.
In a Gründerzeit chic building (period from 1871-1873), the Altstadthaus-Graz offers a lovely ambience for reading, resting and biding time. The elegant apartments impress you with their attention to detail and convey a cosy, historical atmosphere. Those who do not want to eat out every evening can quickly conjure something up in their own kitchen.

Arriving by car
The nearest motorway exit (A2) is Graz Ost. You can get to the Rankengasse and the Altstadthaus from there via Liebenauer Stadion – Messe/Stadthalle – Karlauerbrücke – Lagergasse. Please use a route planner to plan your journey from your own doorstep to ours. Metered public parking in the street in front of the Altstadthaus. There are no time limitations, but charges: 60c/half-hour or €7/day.
Arriving by public transportation
From the Hauptbahnhof you can take the tram lines 1, 3, 6 and 7(to Roseggerhaus) and the bus line 67(direction of Zentralfriedhof) to Albert-Schweizer-Gasse.
