Located in the heart of the old city, right on the Civic Park's edge, the Continental Hotel, now known as the North Star Continental Resort Timisoara, is your ideal stop for business trips.
At the beginning of the 70s, the hotel was a source of wonder for our city’s inhabitants, due to the new building technology it incorporated. The structure’s architectural style is part of functional rationalism.
With 164 welcoming and comfortable rooms, 3 restaurants featuring international and Romanian cuisine, a modern conference centre (oferring simultaneous translation, video and teleconferencing facilities via broadband internet), the Miami Terrace with its outdoor pool, the Lobby Bar, the new Continental beauty and body care Salon, the Galaxy Night Club, the Fitness and Body-Building Centre and the Valoro Casino, Timişoara’s Continental Hotel is a veritable city within a city.
In its immediate vicinity one can find the boutiques, cosy streets and wonderful old buildings of Union Square and Liberty Square. Step outside the hotel and taxies, trams and trolley-buses can take you anywhere on the city map.

North Star Continental Resort Timisoara is a business hotel and the city’s tallest building, offering spectacular views of the city in every direction.
Our guests’ comfort is paramount, which is why we’ve upgraded all our rooms to include air conditioning, minibar, internet access, cable TV, telephone and a safe. In addition, access to the Fitness and Body-Building Centre with sauna and Jacuzzi-style water massage is included in the price of all our rooms.
The Continental Hotel Timisoara is 13 storeys high, 12 of which are used for accommodating our guests in 152 twin and double rooms, 4 apartments, 8 suites and one room for guests with physical disabilities.

North Star Continental Resort Timişoara gives you a choice of 3 restaurants: Atlantic, Bavaria and Park, with capacities of up to 300 people. Our personnel is friendly and always concerned with your well-being, happy to have you with us.
The Atlantic Restaurant combines elegance and refinement, so that you can enjoy its delicacies as any special guest should.
The hotel boasts two masters of the culinary arts, both involved with the National Association of Chefs and Confectioners, one as its president and the other as vice-president for Timişoara.
•The Breakfast Room, open between 6:30 and 10 am, is the place where your day begins with our own freshly baked pastries, laid out for your enjoyment
•The Miami Terrace is the ideal place to end a day filled with business meetings. Lounge in the beach chairs by the outdoor pool, savouring a cocktail in the Civic Park’s quiet environment.
•The Atlantic Restaurant, open between 11 am and 12 am, is an elegant, charming à la carte restaurant offering international and Romanian cuisine.
•The Lobby Bar is open from 7 am until 10:30 pm and is the place where many business meetings take place.

North Start Continental Resort is Timisoara's largest hotel, capable of hosting several events, workshops, conferences, presentations or debates in 7 rooms, simultaneously. All the rooms are up-to-date, spacious, comfortable and soundproofed, making them ideal for business.
The conference centre is fully equipped for business meetings, conferences, congresses, training sessions, workshops, presentations, debates, product launches, parties or weddings. The conference rooms have capacities of up to 300 people.
North Star Resort Hotel Continental is the only hotel in town with a Conference Centre equipped with the latest technology, a simultaneous translation system ready for 2 languages, plus video and telephone conferencing facilities over a broadband internet connection. Other equipment is available for events, such as flipcharts, video projection, sound systems using fixed or mobile microphones, laptops and pointers.
