The WELCOME HOTEL DARMSTADT together with the adjacent “darmstadtium“ science and congress centre will provide superb opportunities for the Conference and Congress sector.

The 4-star hotel has 208 rooms providing a total of some 400 beds. The “Herrngarten“ restaurant and the “Moller“ bistro each of which has a large outdoor patio area serve a wide range of culinary delights. All rooms and suites have floor to ceiling windows ensuring that the accommodation is light and airy throughout. The rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with air-conditioning, flat screen IP TVs and W-LAN. A spacious soft wellness area (130 m²) comprising a Sauna, a steam bath and a fitness room all create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere on the upper floor for guests to enjoy.


In the adjacent “darmstadtium“ the WELCOME HOTEL DARMSTADT has at its disposal 700 of the total 18 000 m² event space to use for conferences, seminars and workshops. In the hotel itself are a further 5 conference rooms providing a total of 350 m² of floor space. The two buildings are interconnected via an underground walkway enabling guests to move freely from one to the other without getting their feet wet! An underground car park provides ample parking - “you are welcome!“

The 14th hotel to join the WELCOME group, the WELCOME HOTEL DARMSTADT together with the adjacent "darmstadtium" science and congress centre will provide superb opportunities for the Conference and Congress sector.

Fans of Californian cuisine will be delighted to hear that our "Herrngarten" Restaurant now offers à la carte specialities. Delicious hors d’oeuvres, soups, main courses and sumptuous desserts to tempt your palate. And the best of it all: you can even eat here later in the evening for the restaurant is now open until 11 p.m.

Our “Welcome the Day” breakfast (16 EUR per person) offers a range of culinary delights providing the very healthiest start to the new day. Fresh bread rolls, cakes and pastries, cheese and cold meats, eggs, salads, a selection of muesli, juices, fruit and a choice of warm dishes – there’s something here to suit everyone! Breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays even include sparkling wine!

A discreet yet attentive service coupled with stylish hospitality and a harmonious ambiance will ensure that eating in our restaurant becomes a true dining experience. The menu changes every three months and we always have a blackboard of our chef’s daily specials.

The more rustic "Moller" Bistro has an upstairs gallery, an open fire for cosy winter evenings and a large patio overlooking Karolinenplatz and the city for balmy summer nights. The menu on offer in the "Moller" is wide and varied and includes snacks, coffees and teas as well as cakes and take-away specialities. Meals are served until midnight allowing time for those arriving late or coming from the theatre to still be able to grab a bite to eat.

By car
Approaching from the A5/A67 Darmstadt interchange (Darmstaedter Kreuz) follow signs to DARMSTADT STADTMITTE (city centre), continue following signs to the Zentrum (centre) and the Darmstadtium. After the City tunnel turn left into Holzstraße following signs to the Technische Universität and the Darmstadtium. The hotel is on the right. Approaching on the B26 from Aschaffenburg: continue on the B26 into Darmstadt, drive passed Darmstadt’s eastern railway station (Ostbahnhof) and continue onto the city ring road. Follow the ring road round to the right. The hotel is on the right.
Parking is available in the public underground car park on Karolinenplatz, at the hotel or in the Darmstadtium.
